Gecko Group collaborated with the design team at Longwood to help tell the story behind the enormous undertaking of revitalizing the most significant fountain garden in the country. Images, artifacts and illustrations tell the story of the planning, development, and implementation of the project through the voices of architects, engineers, horticulturists, conservationists and the countless others who have contributed to this massive endeavor. 

An open air exhibit structure invites guests in to explore the design process. Layers of photographs, notes, sketches, renderings and artifacts were composed together to resemble an architect’s working wall or table. Telling a complex story with a more casual and accessible approach. In addition to the exhibit, Gecko Group also designed the 300′ + barricade ribbon wall that conceals the view into the busy construction site, leading visitors along the pathway to the open air exhibit and an overlook into the work underway. The wall depicts images of the historic and revitalized Garden which will open in 2017.
