Gecko Project receives Neographics Franklin Award for Excellence

A Gecko Group-designed endowment campaign brochure won the Franklin Award for Excellence this year at Neographics – The Power of Print Exhibition. This event is one of the nation's largest regional graphic communications contests. Entries are sent to more than 6,000 firms in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. The competition, sponsored by the Graphic Arts Association in Philadelphia, recognizes excellence in graphic arts, packaging, converting, design and publishing.
Gecko's winning design was the Hillel Annual Giving Brochure. With complex folds and eye-catching graphics, the design execution was 50% puzzle construction, and 100% marketing savvy. Phil Cohen, lead designer on the project, is known for his ability to transform complex messaging into spatially-efficient communication.
